Jog On!

blimey I've been a little slack in the posting department just recently, mainly because i have been really hacked off with my lack of progress.

have decided to write off the last few weeks, altho i have been sicking to plan and exercising my weight loss has slowed to a pathetic drip, i mean 4lbs in 6 weeks - grrrrrrrr. now i know i should be happy with that and i guess overall it's OK, but god it's so frustrating! the school holidays have messed my master plan up, i really wanted 6 stone off for my birthday but as that is less than two weeks away and i still have 10lbs to go i don't somehow think that's gonna happen unless i cut a limb off! i never ever thought i would look forward to going back to work just to get my routine back in order and hopefully kick start my weight loss again!

anyway, moving on, i have just measured and I'm pleased to report that there are a few less centimetres of me than the last time i dared face the tape measure :O)

so onto my main news of the week, (cue fanfare.....) i have JOGGED on the treadmill this week!!! aaarrrrgggggghhhhhh thank god it backs onto a wall and no one had to stare at my wobbly buttocks bouncing around! lol but i am sooooo proud of myself altho my knees were less than pleased. now i only managed 3 mins but i truly couldn't get over the fact that i felt happy to do it and in a public place too, i just thought if 17 st rugby players can do it then I'm sure i can have a go and so i did!

What is going on????

I am soooooo pee'd off this week :O(

I have been good this week (not that I'm ever bad!), eaten all my points most days, been to the gym everyday and yet I have still managed to GAIN 1/2 a pound!!!!!

I have reached a real sticking point and have been yoyo-ing around the 17.7 for the past 4 weeks and now it is hacking me off big time!!!

I was so close to going out and buying loads of crap, but managed to restrain myself.

Well, I'll keep working at it now I've had my moan! Good luck everyone still to WI x

New Cossie

since joining WW i have had to buy 3 swimming costumes, 1 was binned after i 'popped' out due to it being a bit big, the next one has been binned because i stupidly stuck it in the tumble dryer and all the elastic stuff gave up the ghost and it became a baggy mess.

so i am now on my 3rd one and to be honest this one is a little small but it is a speedo which i would never have dreamed i could get into at the start of the year and it has a racing back, so hopefully my still ample busters will stay under the material where they should be!

i am so proud of myself, this new cossie is 3 sizes smaller than my original and its bright red, i never ever would have bought anything but black but now i think 'sod it, i can wear bright colours'!

Cardio Wave Machine

or how the gym nearly killed me!

as it's the school holidays i really have no excuse for not visiting the gym and as a result I have been going everyday (pushing for the 6 stones by my 40th in Sept!)

so last week i thought i would try the cardio wave machine, it's like a step machine, you have two foot pads and basically you lift your knees and you kind of float, sounds weird and is!

OH MY GOD after 1 minute i thought i might die, it is the hardest thing i have ever done in my entire life, i swear! but, i did manage to stay on for 5 minutes and had to stop when i could no longer feel my knees! when i got off (fell off) i couldn't walk and had to lean ungraciously against a metal divider lol

however, i have persevered with it and today i am pleased to say that i have increased my time to 5.5 mins and could still feel my knees at the end, although breathing was a bit of a luxury!
obviously as i am writing this i survived and i am determined to get to the 10 minute mark

Hoorah!

Phew, very glad to find that I am back being a loser this week and have managed a 4lb loss :O)

Thank god for that, I have worked really hard this week to get back on track, been to the gym every day, even twice a day a couple of times and it has paid off YAY YAY YAY
